As a kid, I always wanted to be a writer, engineer, astronaut, sailor, and musician. I read lots of books, played with computers, bought too many guitars, and cleaned a few boats. I have the good fortune of attaining many of these things. (Call me, NASA!)
My goal for my stories was always to write fun adventure with humor and love, basically the kind of stuff I wanted to read more of and what I’d like to see in the world. As an electrical engineer who documents her stuff, I have a pretty good understanding of how stuff works, how to explain it, and how to ask if I am not sure. I spent 3 years volunteering for the San Diego Maritime Museum and learned to sail tall ships and love the ocean. So, all the pieces fit together for Haul Away: A High-Seas Post-Apocalyptic Adventure!
