As a kid, I always wanted to be a writer, engineer, astronaut, sailor, and musician. I read lots of books, played with computers, bought too many guitars, and cleaned a few boats. I have the good fortune of attaining many of these things. (Call me, NASA!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My goal for my stories was always to write fun adventure with humor and love, basically the kind of stuff I wanted to read more of and what I\u2019d like to see in the world. As an electrical engineer who documents her stuff, I have a pretty good understanding of how stuff works, how to explain it, and how to ask if I am not sure. I spent 3 years volunteering for the San Diego Maritime Museum<\/a> and learned to sail tall ships and love the ocean.
